Studs are easy to underestimate because they are quiet, but that is often exactly what makes them right. They finish the face without asking the rest of the outfit to compete.
I usually reach for studs when I want polish without extra conversation. They fit naturally into the kind of wardrobe I described in how to choose earrings that still feel like you, especially when personal style leans restrained rather than dramatic.
That does not mean statement earrings are wrong. It just means they do a different job. On days when the rest of the jewelry is already making its point, like in pieces that feel timeless in daily wear or a signature jewelry look, studs often keep everything balanced.
I like earrings that stay graceful at close range and still work on ordinary days, which is part of why Marysa continues to appeal to me. The right studs never feel like a compromise. They feel certain.
