Refreshing your jewelry box does not always mean buying more. Sometimes it just means looking at what you already own with a little more honesty.
I start by pulling out the pieces I actually wear and grouping them around the kind of life described in the jewelry pieces you reach for every day. Anything that never fits with those favorites may not need the same amount of space or attention.
This kind of edit also supports the thinking behind building a small jewelry collection that still feels complete and storing jewelry so it is easier to wear. A calmer jewelry box often makes your style clearer before you buy anything at all.
When something new does deserve a place, I want it to solve a real gap rather than add another maybe. Editing first makes that decision much easier.
