Spring and summer usually make me want to edit rather than add. One signature piece often feels more convincing than several lighter choices that never quite settle into the outfit.
I like to choose that piece the same way I would build a signature jewelry look: by asking what still feels true across different clothes, lighter fabrics, and a more open neckline. The answer is often simpler than you expect.
This is also where the thinking in what makes a jewelry piece feel timeless in daily wear and styling jewelry with soft textures becomes useful. A seasonal signature piece should stay flexible enough to keep its place after the weather changes.
I still want that piece to feel personal before it feels seasonal. When it does, spring and summer styling becomes much easier around it.
