Earrings can change the mood of an outfit faster than almost any other piece of jewelry, which is exactly why the right pair should still feel like an extension of you rather than a costume.
I tend to think about earrings in terms of posture and rhythm. Some pairs make you feel sharper and more composed. Others soften the face and add just enough lightness for everyday wear. The best choice is usually the one that supports your personal style in the same way a strong everyday necklace does in a signature jewelry wardrobe.
If you already prefer quieter jewelry, there is no need to overcorrect just because earrings feel more visible. In fact, I think they work best when they carry the same restraint I talked about in layering necklaces without overdoing it: enough presence to finish the look, but never so much that they take it over.
When I want to see what shapes still feel polished and easy to wear, I look for clean lines and gentle scale at Marysa. The goal is not to become a different version of yourself. It is to choose earrings that sound like your voice, only a little clearer.
